I've been in the Bay Area for 25 years, but my heart is still in Cuba, and I'm thrilled to be able to share my beloved 'patria' (home country) with you.

If you love to explore, and you want to dance (beginner - expert), and you want to see Cuba through the eyes of a local, this is the trip for you! We'll take a small group (15 people) and will be housed in 3 apartments in Vedado. Our days will consist of taking classes at the Salsa Festival, exploring Havana by walking tour, checking out art galleries, and enjoying each other's company. We will be accompanied by 3 local guides (my cousins and compadre) who will take smaller groups around to explore different angles of the city.

You will have the option to join us on a day-long beach trip to Guanabo, and will also be able to opt for other side trips or classes if you would like. Options include yoga classes, Spanish classes, a tour of the University, visits to museums, and more.

As the trip will be small and each house will have it's own dedicated guide, our group will be nimble and quick, and we'll be able to accommodate individual whims better than a larger tour group. The personal touch and the family vibe is what is special about us -- you'll feel 'taken care of' like you would on a larger tour, but you'll have the insider's view of the locals. They might even take you home with them to visit their neighborhoods or eat their auntie's food. Ask them!
